My Practical Way of Using ZOO

When using ZOO, I often combine it with several additional devices to improve clinical efficiency and safety.

OptraGate

Recently, inexpensive versions have become widely available through online stores.
It helps maintain mouth opening and retract the lips, which allows a safer and clearer working field.
As a result, it becomes possible to create an environment similar to rubber dam isolation.

Bite Block

I attach dental floss to the bite block and place it on the opposite side.
This is particularly useful for patients who have strong biting force.

Canal Cleaner

I prefer to use a gel-type sodium hypochlorite product.
Unlike liquid solutions, the gel does not easily flow out of the operative field, which allows safer and more controlled root canal treatment.
