In endodontic treatment, using a rubber dam is generally considered the ideal method for isolation.
However, depending on the patient’s condition, it is sometimes difficult or impossible to place a rubber dam.
In such cases, ZOO helps maintain moisture control in the operative field, making it possible to proceed with root canal treatment more safely and efficiently.
For this reason, ZOO has become a very useful tool in my daily practice.
There are also situations in pediatric emergency visits where the child is in severe pain and it is difficult to place a rubber dam.
Even in these cases, when performing temporary restorative procedures, using ZOO often makes it surprisingly easier to control the field and complete the treatment.
In many situations where treatment would otherwise be difficult, ZOO allows the procedure to be completed successfully, which has been extremely helpful in clinical practice.
