ZOO Is Essential for Moisture Control in Mandibular Molar Restorations

In restorative procedures for mandibular molars, ZOO has become an essential instrument in my clinic.

For example, when a restoration on a lower second molar (tooth #7 in the mandibular arch) becomes dislodged and needs to be re-cemented, it is almost impossible to work without proper moisture control.
The tongue constantly moves, and maintaining a dry field can be very challenging.

In our clinic, we always use ZOO when cementing prosthetic restorations.

Both restorative and prosthetic procedures depend heavily on how well we can control moisture inside the oral cavity.

When a rubber dam is not used, ZOO really demonstrates its value by helping maintain a dry working field.
